"Connecting Shandong with Fortune Global 500" series event to kick off on August 27

According to the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province, the “Connecting Shandong with Fortune Global 500” series event, jointly hosted by the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and Shandong Provincial People's Government, undertaken by the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province, and with Fortune China as the partner, will be held between August 27th and October 27th. The European special will be held first on August 27th.

On the theme of “Deepen Communication and Achieve Win-win Cooperation”, the series event aims to broaden and deepen the communication channels between Shandong and multinational companies represented by Fortune Global 500 under the new situation, and boost the confidence of multinational companies to cooperate with Shandong for win-win cooperation.

The series event is expected to play a leading role in deepening Shandong’s international economic cooperation and jointly maintaining the stability of the global industrial chain; and has received strong support from the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, Fortune Global 500 multinational companies and foreign business chambers in China.

The series event consists of 5 special events, for Fortune Global 500 companies from the Europe, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the United States, South Korea and Japan, which is scheduled to be held respectively on August 27th, September 22nd, September 29th, October 22nd, October 27th. Parallel venues will be set up in Shandong’s 16 cities, and in Singapore for the ASEAN special, in Seoul for the Korean Special, and in Tokyo for the Japanese special.
