Shandong: 162.8 bln yuan invested in comprehensive transport infrastructure from January to August

According to the Department of Transport of Shandong province, from January to August this year, Shandong has invested 162.8 billion yuan in comprehensive transport infrastructure, completing 70.3% of the annual task, a year-on-year increase of 24.9%; including 94.48 billion yuan in highways, 33.05 billion yuan in railways, 9.51 billion yuan in ports and shipping, 6.17 billion yuan in airports, 17.42 billion yuan in urban rail transportation, and 2.18 billion yuan in stations and terminals. 24.19 billion yuan was invested in August alone.
