Shandong provides substantial support for individual champion enterprises in manufacturing

According to Shandong Provincial Finance Department, in order to encourage and guide enterprises to become individual champions in market and technology in more subdivided product industries, Shandong took the lead to issue incentive policies in 2016, awarding 2 million yuan to demonstration enterprises and 1 million yuan to cultivation enterprises that were selected as individual champions.

During the “13th Five-Year Plan” period, Shandong provincial finance has invested a total of 77 million yuan to support the implementation of the award policy of national individual champions in the manufacturing field. The province has cultivated a total of 98 national individual champions in manufacturing industry, including 60 demonstration enterprises, 23 cultivation enterprises and 15 individual champion products. The number of champion enterprises has ranked first in the country for many years, further consolidating and improving the status of Shandong as a major manufacturing province.
