Import & export value in Shandong's comprehensive bonded zones exceeds 250 bln yuan in 2020

According to customs statistics, in 2020, comprehensive bonded zones in Shandong achieved a total of 252.27 billion yuan in import and export value, a year-on-year increase of 25.5%, much higher than the average growth rate of the province’s foreign trade.

Comprehensive bonded zones, achieving 11.5% of Shandong’s foreign trade import and export value and contributing to 2.5 percentage points in the latter’s growth rate, while accounting for 0.02% of the land area in the province, have become an important force for the province to stabilize foreign trade and ensure the stability of the industrial chain supply chain. Up to now, Shandong has 13 comprehensive bonded zones in 9 cities, ranking third in China in number.

In recent years, the customs in Shandong have given full play to the policy and function advantages of comprehensive bonded zones, and promoted the bonded zones’ development of five major centers for processing and manufacturing, for research, development and design, for logistics distribution, for inspection and maintenance, and for sales and services.
