Shandong announces 1st batch of strategic emerging industrial clusters

Recently, Shandong Development and Reform Commission issued the Notice on the List of the First Batch of Strategic Emerging Industrial Clusters in Shandong Province, identifying and announcing 12 provincial strategic emerging industrial clusters such as Biomedical Industry Cluster of Jinan.

The 12 provincial strategic was accredited for the further implementation of national construction engineering of strategic emerging industrial clusters and carried out on the basis of the Implementation Plan of the Development Projects of Shandong’s Strategic Emerging Industrial Clusters.

The Notice requires cities to effectively increase support for the cultivation of strategic emerging industrial clusters, improve the coordination and promotion mechanism, optimize supporting policies and measures, stimulate the development of leading enterprises, complete the industrial chain of clusters, strengthen the planning, construction and reserve of key projects, and constantly improve the innovation ability and core competitiveness of clusters.
