Shandong to basically complete construction of strong modern province by 2035

The Information Office of Shandong Provincial People’s Government held the first of a series of press conferences on the theme of “Looking ahead to the 14th Five-Year Plan”, introducing the overall deployment and key tasks of accelerating the construction of a powerful modern province in the new era during the 14th Five-Year Plan period.

It’s reported that The 14th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development and the Outline of the Long-term Goal to 2035 of Shandong Province (The Plan and Outline for short) had been examined and approved at the 5th Session of the 13th Provincial People’s Congress, and will be issued and implemented in the near future. The Plan and Outline defines the overall goal, guiding ideology and basic principles of basically building Shandong into a strong modern province in the new era by 2035 and striving to achieve the goal of “leading the pack in seven aspects” and “achieving nine breakthroughs in building a strong modern province” in the next five years.
