Foreign trade export grows rapidly in Heze in first two months

According to Heze Customs, in the first two months of 2021, Heze’s foreign trade export reached 3.93 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth rate of 87.6%, which ranks third in Shandong province. The export of labor-intensive products and mechanical and electrical products increased significantly in the first two months. The export of clothing and clothing accessories reached 950 million yuan, increasing by 9.6 times. The export of mechanical and electrical products reached 630 million yuan, up 36.5 percent. The export of furniture and spare parts reached 490 million yuan, up 69 percent.

With the efforts of Heze Customs, rice products of Heze returned to the EU market, which is the first export of rice products from Qingdao Customs area since EU’s restriction on importing China’s genetically modified rice in 2012, and the export of canned food increased by more than 60 percent.
