China extends exemption of additional tariffs on 79 U.S. products

China has announced the fourth extension of the exemption of additional tariffs for a list of 79 U.S. products from the second round of tariff countermeasures against the U.S., said the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council.

The exclusion list covers items from rare earth metal ore, to chemical raw materials, and medical disinfectants.

The new extension will be effective from May 19 through December 25.
