| 主要内容： | Project description Smart Rainfall System - SRS provides a better response to hydrogeological emergencies, providing real-time rainfall monitoring and flood risk nowcasting. Artys’ solution is a Decision Support System – DSS that uses the patented Smart Rainfall System - SRS technology for a better response to hydrogeological emergencies, providing real-time rainfall monitoring and flood risk nowcasting by means of a network of IoT sensors analyzing the satellite TV signals received by common parabolic dishes. Economic rationale / Business Model The business model relies on an innovative approach, providing services and not selling equipment (like rain gauge); thanks to this approach, Public administrations will avoid investments in infrastructures and products. Artys bases its business model on value added services (loan for use for sensors networks and multiannual subscription for monitoring service), and exploits existent telecommunications infrastructures and low-cost ICT-based technologies (cost efficient and easy to install / maintain sensors). During the contract, Artys performs all the activities necessary to operate the service, e.g. maintenance of the network of sensors, SW/HW upgrade, administration of the data processing server and web-service. The Business model is B2B recurring to an annual subscription (70% Public Authorities/30% Private business). We provide rainfall and risk maps, SRS stations on loan, System supply and operation. Our revenues come from services provided. Prices requested are accorded to the size of the covered area: Small area (≥5 km2 ≤250) - 11k€, Medium: (250 ≤km2<500) - 46K€, Large: (≥ 500 km2) - 75K€. Financing details Project financing secured: EUR 0.27 million (18 %) Financing source: Public Grant : 0,277 Equity: 1.223 milion Existing or potential bottlenecks for the realisation of the project / Potential risks • New competitors in the market • Reluctance to innovation by the potential customers • Market acceptance, especially when try to deal with PAs for large tenders (projects budget over 40.000€), is yet to be proven. • National market suffers from regulatory constraints that often lead the customers to adopt certified systems, even if they do have lower performance or capabilities.
