| 主要内容： | Project description OWSKIMMER will give solution to two huge problems regarding marine environment: excess of water recovered during Oil Spill Recovery Operations and recovery of micro-plastics. OWSKIMMER is an innovative project based on a patented device that will be an essential tool to protect the marine environment and to promote the blue economy. This project will address a business opportunity related to the reduction of seaport management costs by reducing drastically the amount of water recovered by the existing oil recovery machinery, improvement of the marine activities and removal of tiny plastic debris that are being eaten by fish and consequently by humans. Economic rationale / Business Model We expect to gain business relevance, create a production structure, return on investment in three years, obtaining immediate benefits. In terms of market the company expects to get a significant share, competing as equals with leading manufacturers of spilled oil pumps and skimmers worldwide and by offering them our system to supplement their less efficient equipment. Becoming one of the only four Arquimedes’ screw pump manufacturers in the market and OWSKIMMER® make us feel confident about our expectations. Actions that will enhance scalability of OWSKIMMER project: • Potential growth of interested markets over 3% • Recent boost from European policies regarding waste plastics and water. • High margins, over 50%. • Large program of preliminar testings • Knowledge and competency are not outsourced, Sedosr owns them. • Creation of a solid team, mixture of technicians and marketing experts. For achieving the internationalization of our project SEDOSR Engineering will: • Prepare a marketing campaign; • Prepare a plan of future research steps to utilize this innovation in another fields; • Participate at industry and environmental fairs. Project additional information SEDOSR is one of the only 4 Archimedes’ screw pump with sealing disc manufacturers. This kind of pump is the best performance in the oil spill management market and can be used in oil&gas market, heavy industries and food industry. Besides Archimedes’ screw pumps can handle debris such as plastic. Our Archimedes’ screw pump is the heart of our OWSKIMMER technology since it can be assemble to a centrifugal separator to remove water in excess. Thus, being owners of our own technology and knowledge we have full technical control of our project. |
