We have developed a Tech solution that identifies and geolocates the weeds and pests and we eliminate them in a selective way without leaving a toxic trace, since we do not use toxics, without using water and without using plastics (bottles or containers with toxic contents in the environment). We cause a social impact, as we improve people’s health by helping to build a safer, healthier and more sustainable food chain. We cause a climatic impact: we also help the recovery of the environment. Economic rationale / Business Model We believe that an investor should invest in us because... The world market for herbicides and pesticides is 60B€ and we are technologically capable of replacing the use of herbicides and pesticides. Because our solution is highly disruptive, we are totally aligned not only with market trends but also with people’s trends (organic food, healthier food, environmental awareness). We are aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. GREEN KILLER WEEDS is anticipating the highly restrictive legislation on herbicides and pesticides that will be on the market in 2022. Our solution we will create a high social impact and high climate impact. Our business model will focus on three tracks: -Generate income from machine sales to agricultural machinery distributors (B2B). -We will generate revenue from the sale of recurring Big Data services to companies that provide services to third parties. -We will generate revenue from the use or transfer of technology to large manufacturing players, such as John Deere etc. The possibilities of application and market potential are very wide: Agriculture, Infrastructure (road maintenance), Urbanism (park and garden maintenance), professional gardening and home garden. Financing details Project financing secured: EUR 0.69 million (55 %) Financing source: Private We have invested 687,000 EUR in the project, of which 637,000 EUR are funds from the entrepreneur and founder of GREEN KILLER WEEDS himself and 50,000 EUR come from friends and entities that have helped the project. Existing or potential bottlenecks for the realisation of the project / Potential risks The development of technology is obviously at risk. In our case, the risk we have is that the environmental conditions of dust and dirt in the real working conditions can hinder reaching the effectiveness results we expect. For this assumption and to mitigate these possible risks we have developed a contingency plan that will allow us to add an alternative technology to which the adverse working conditions do not interfere with the result. Project additional information We have conducted more than 80 interviews with potential clients and have obtained more than 83% real interest. We have letters of interest from end clients and institutions and research centres willing and interested in our project. We have invested more than 700 K EUR. We have developed 3 pilots and have tested them in the laboratory with very satisfactory results. We have an external advisory board of more than 10 public and private organizations. |
