Yantai-based fashion designer presents creation at Slovak

Chinese fashion designer Wu Meixuan, a native of Yantai, has been invited to present her creation on the last day of Bratislava Modern Days 2019.

Bratislava Modern Days 2019 was one of the most important Slovak top fashion activities.

This four-day annual fashion gala was also regarded as Slovak fashion week. This year it used the last day, Sept 19, to present fashion designs with Chinese elements, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Slovakia.

Wu became the first Chinese designer to show up at Bratislava Modern Days. She presented two collections of her own brand Meixuan Wu. The show won applause. In her opening remarks, Wu introduced her ideas about fashion design and inspirations. She said that her works are designed to show the depth of ambition, glamour and confidence while being authentic.
